The Jesús Manifesto.

Ria de Vigo

I’ve been spending a lot of time riding the ferry back and forth between the city and Cangas lately, staring out at the Ria de Vigo, watching the two coastlines symbiotically approach and recede, and wrestling with Diego‘s YUGEN post from several months back. Maybe El Moro‘s just on a higher plane – drifting in and out of existence along with the Cherokee ghosts that surround him, beholding the birth of stars – which is of course why me and Disko hang out with him in the first place. I’m not saying I don’t agree with him, but something about YUGEN just doesn’t say it all for me. So as a Yin to YUGEN‘s Yang, here is a humble response, submitted among the cries of gulls and salty winter gusts blowing in off the Atlantic. I know that Junho already disagrees with it. For today, it’s the Jesús Manifesto.
